Use Adobe Fireworks to create the front cover to a birthday card.
The default size of 660 width, 440 height with 72 resolution will be fine for this activity unless you know what you are doing and would like a different size.
Consider the target audience. Use the shape tool to add a coloured background. Use the layers if you need. Add pictures, shapes and text. You can use images from the Internet.
