The first stage in game development is planning. It is important to have a clear idea of what you want the game to look like and what is going to happen in the game.
The game will be made with the player looking down on the town from above.
Plan a computer game that involves a top down view of Comp town with a vehicle driving round collecting things. There should be obstacles and someone trying to catch the player.
Use Scratch (or equivalent) to design the main page of the game. It will be from a birds eye view.
Program your car to move around the streets and police to move automatically etc.
Evaluate the game so far using screenshots and explanations. Identify what could be improved.
Based on your evaluation last lesson, make improvements to your game and evidence them.
